The NAWIS Concept |

An innovative total concept for multi-purpose
and consequently economic room utilisation
runs under the name NAWIS®.
It allows the room to be used for any type of
lesson "at the touch of a button" and without
the need for complex conversion work – with
optimum furnishings.
Inter-Room Flexibility
One of the basic principles studied during the
development of NAWIS® was that the supply
of classic media such as gas, power and water should be extended to include a connection to
internal data networks or the internet. This way,
the basic supply is always up-to-date and even
allows the integration of lighting, acoustics and
presentation technology such as beamers.
The second decisive approach was to structure
this supply equipment as flexibly as possible so that every room could be optimally used for
every subject and individual components could
also be used in other rooms. Whether working
on the computer our researching on the internet,
whether taking part in chemistry demonstrations,
project lessons or theoretical forward-facing
lessons – with NAWIS® the room adapts itself
to suit its class.
