The Promotion Programm |

On 12th May 2003, the German Federal Government and the individual Federal states responsible for education policies signed an administrative agreement for the "Future Education and Support" investment programme. This agreement set down that, until the year 2007, the Federation would provide a total of
4 billion euros in order to meet with demand and support the establishment of a sufficient number of all-day schools in the whole of Germany.
With subsidies amounting to 90% of the total investment, new buildings, extensions, conversions and renovations aimed at creating additional pupil capacities for all-day schooling are being promoted, with the allocation guidelines being laid out differently for the individual Federal states.
As the forerunner in the supply of school furnishings and equipment, HOHENLOHER had already developed multifunctional rooms many years before, rooms which are now being focussed on as part of the all-day schooling issue. Thus, the HOHENLOHER stand at the 2004 education exhibition in Cologne became a recognised forum for both political and practised education experts.
